Tip

Virginia Law Families Tip:

C'Ville Coffee has a large back room with a corner featuring kids books and games. Good place for parents to relax while kids entertain themselves. In addition to standard coffee-house beverages and baked goods, they offer a full line of deli sandwiches featuring Boar's Head brand meats and now offer oriental noodles from 5 pm until closing each day.

Tip

"For a peaceful place to study and have your coffee too, Java Java in the Townside Shopping Center next to Arch's on Ivy Road is your best choice. Clean and simple decor with wireless access and good background music provides a pleasant setting to focus on serious reading or writing a paper. Frequented by many professors from Central Grounds, it's a cheery place without being too noisy...The main downside is that Java Java closes every day at 6 pm."

"Greenberry's in the Barracks Road Shopping Center meanwhile is a bustling place where you are surely going to see someone you know if you sit there long enough. The baristas serving up the fabulous coffee are always friendly and helpful and move along the lines that form during busy times. The pastry case displays a wide variety of baked goods to reward yourself with for tackling your Property or Federal Courts reading. While it can be difficult to find a table and the wireless connection can be spotty when the cafe is busy, it’s easy to see why Greenberry’s draws so many loyal customers, both students and community members."
