Dogs
Charlottesville is a very pet-friendly community. Many law students have found apartment complexes very close to the school that allow pets. Check the yellow pages for dozens of local kennels and veterinarians that can keep tabs on your dog while you travel or are otherwise outside of Charlottesville.
Registration
Dogs four months or older must be registered with the
City of Charlottesville or Albemarle County, depending
upon your place of residence. Once your dog is registered,
it will receive a tag to wear on its collar.
