A FLEX account is a declining balance account that is coded to your University identification card's magnetic strip; if you do not have a University ID, a separate card will be issued to you. If you are opening an account, the initial deposit is $200. Once you have set up your FLEX account, you may add any dollar amount at any time.

Customers may establish or add funds to a FLEX account online. FLEX program brochures, including an enrollment form, also are available at the Stone Dining Room or at the Sidley Austin Café. FLEX dollars are honored at the Stone Dining Room, Sidley Austin Café, Greenberry's coffee bar, or any one of the many U.Va. dining locations on Grounds, including Alderman Café, Poolside Café at the Aquatic and Fitness Center, Newcomb Hall, and Pavilion XI.
