LAW LEADERSHIP GIVING: Law & Business Program
Naming Opportunity for Law & Business Program $3.5 million
In addition to specific endowments for visiting professors and lecturers (see below), we are seeking a general endowment to support the Law & Business Program. The income from the endowment would be used to support the program's director, to help fund conferences and other program activities, and to help recruit exceptional applicants to the Law School by promoting the opportunities provided to them through the Law & Business Program.
Lectureships in Law & Business $250,000 and $500,000
Endowed lectureships enable the Law School to attract experienced lawyers and business executives to teach intensive two- to four-week courses in business law. Many of these instructors are distinguished Law School alumni. They bring expertise and experience which few legal academics can match, and they greatly enrich the business law curriculum available to our students. An endowment of $500,000 would support a named lecturer every semester. An endowment of $250,000 would support a named lecturer every year.
