Reunion Giving FAQs
1. Why does the Law School need my money?
Private donations support student organizations and journals, financial aid, the library, the faculty, special programs, lectures and symposia, public service fellowships, the public service loan assistance program, and the Student-Faculty Center.
With tuition on the rise, the Law School needs to raise vital scholarship funds. We simply cannot afford to lose good students because we cost too much.
2. What counts as a reunion gift?
All gifts and pledges received this fiscal year (July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012) count toward the “class gift” total and may include:
- gifts made in support of specific endowments or projects
- unrestricted monies
- planned gifts, such as charitable remainder trusts, pooled income funds or charitable gift annuities.
3. How can I give?
Gifts may be designated for a specific purpose
or left unrestricted for the general needs of the Law School.
Some reunion classes set specific goals and/or specific purposes.
