Student-Faculty Center Nears Completion

The long-awaited Student-Faculty Center is expected to open in August; the Sidley Austin Brown & Wood Café is scheduled to open Aug. 19, with food services beginning August 21. The $6 million addition to Hunton & Williams Hall includes a large entry lobby, the Class of 1950 and Philip M. Stone dining rooms, and the Caplin Reading Room, which will serve as a student study lounge. A large central space, named "the Scott Commons" in honor of former Dean Robert E. Scott, will act as a "town square" where people meet on their way to dine, get a cup of coffee, or check their mail.
