Graduation Weekend Schedule:

Saturday, May 17
3:00–4:00 p.m.

Cap and Gown Pickup (last opportunity), Witt Courtroom (SL290)

4:00–7:00 p.m. Alumni Association/Law Foundation/Student Bar Association Reception for graduates and families, Law School
Sunday, May 18 (Good Weather)
8:00–9:45 a.m. Continental Breakfast, East Range between Rotunda and Green Alleys
9:45 a.m. Lawn Ceremony, Rotunda Alley (east side of Lawn, Rotunda end); students line up behind faculty marshals for processional down the Lawn, forming two non-alphabetical lines and remaining in them down the Lawn.
Not later than 12:55 p.m. Students take seats for the Law School Ceremony, Holcombe Green Lawn (buses run from Lawn Ceremony to North Grounds via U-Hall, leaving from McCormick Road near Alderman Library).

Sunday, May 18 (Bad or Uncertain Weather)

Local radio stations will carry information about whether alternative graduation plans are in effect. The University will make a definite announcement by 8:00 a.m.

If the Lawn Ceremony is canceled, the Law School Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Memorial Gymnasium. The Continental Breakfast will be served in the Aerobics Room at the Gym. Students should be seated alphabetically, by 10:15 a.m. Please note, the Law School does not participate in the ceremony in University Hall under any circumstances.
If the weather is uncertain but the Lawn Ceremony goes on as scheduled, you will be notified while you are seated on the Lawn if the Law School ceremony will be moved to Memorial Gymnasium.
