What field will you be working in and what city? Employment/civil rights, Washington, D.C.
Best study tip: Put in your hours!
Favorite BarBri teacher, and why: I liked Prof. Charles Whitebread for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. I thought he did a great job explaining the black letter law and emphasizing the most important topics to study for the bar exam. He was also pretty funny, which is a big plus at 9 a.m.
Did you take PMBR/was it helpful? No, I didn’t take PMBR.
Best place to study for the bar for a few hours: Slaughter Hall conference rooms
Best place to forget the bar for a few hours: Sitting outside on the Downtown Mall or going to the gym.
Favorite inspirational lawyer movie/book/TV show: To be honest, I tend to stay away from law-related books/TV/movies while studying for the bar.

Which bar are you taking? Georgia
What field will you be working in, and what city? Clerkship,
the Honorable Haldane Robert Mayer, Chief Judge, United
States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Washington,
D.C. Followed by gainful employment in the city of my
wife's choosing (hopefully Atlanta or D.C.).
Best study tip: Don't stress! Stay confident! Just think of ALL the lawyers you know, and I'm sure you'll be able to think of a couple and say to yourself "If that person could do it, I can!"
Favorite BarBri teacher, and why: None
of them. They are merely benefiting financially from our
misery. Kidding! They were all useful.
Did you take PMBR/was it helpful? Yes—it
was helpful in that it helped get me in bar-study mode, and
provided an early framework for my study plan.
Best place to study for the bar for a few hours: At
home.
Best place to forget the bar for a few hours: On
the golf course.
Favorite inspirational lawyer movie/book/TV show: The
standard law school favorite, "Law and Order."

Undergraduate education: A.B. in Political Science, Duke University
Which bar are you taking? Virginia
What field will you be working in and what city? I will be working in a general counsel shop for the federal government, so a variety of work: constitutional law, administrative, international, litigation, legislation, procurement. In northern Virginia.
Best study tip: Take Virginia Practice and Procedure if you are taking the Virginia bar.
Favorite BarBri Teacher: Charles Whitebread and his stories of hapless clients during his criminal defense practice.
Taking the PMBR/was it helpful: Not taking PMBR.
Best place to study for the bar for a few hours: Any place quiet and free of other law students studying for the bar.
Best place to forget the bar for a few hours: St. Maarten's Café—where else would I be?
Favorite inspirational lawyer movie/book/TV show: “Anatomy of a Murder” is my favorite lawyer film, although ["The Simpsons" lawyer] Lionel Hutz offers inspiration that I, too, can pass the bar.

Best study tip: Make flash cards
Favorite BarBri Teacher: Andrew Klein (Torts) condensed a lot of material and had a helpful outline.
Taking the PMBR/was it helpful: I’m planning to take it.
Best place to study for the bar for a few hours: The reading room at Scott Commons
Best place to forget the bar for a few hours: Tennis court, Ivy pool, and of course Arch’s Frozen Yogurt
Favorite inspirational lawyer movie/book/TV show: "Paper Chase"—it makes law school feel easy!
