Three Students Win Top GPA Awards

Three University of Virginia law students received awards today for their academic performance.

Galen Bascom '13 won the Jackson Walker LLP Award, given to the student with the highest grade-point average in his or her class after four semesters.

Second-year law students Ben Aiken and Ben Wood both won the Carl M. Franklin Prize, having tied for the highest grade-point average in their class at the end of their first year.

Recipients of the awards receive a cash prize and have their names engraved on plaques in Hunton & Williams Hall.
