Two Students Win Top GPA Awards

Two University of Virginia law students received awards today for their academic performance.

Benjamin Wood '14 won the Jackson Walker LLP Award, given to the student with the highest grade-point average in his or her class after four semesters.

Second-year law student Samuel Strongin won the Carl M. Franklin Prize, having earned for the highest grade-point average in his class at the end of their first year.

Recipients of the awards receive a cash prize and have their names engraved on plaques in Hunton & Williams Hall.
