Karsh Student Services Center To Be Dedicated During UVA Law Alumni Weekend
Alumni, faculty and friends of the University of Virginia School of Law will dedicate the new Karsh Student Services Center on Saturday as part of Law Alumni Weekend.
The Karsh Center, most of which was completed in the fall, redesigned student services offices in Slaughter Hall to include reception areas and expanded the space allotted to the Law School's 20 clinics. The construction involved creating a two-story atrium that juts out into the Slaughter Hall courtyard, known as Purcell Garden, and offers a gathering space that leads into the redesigned garden. Landscaping renovations were completed this spring.
"The Karsh Student Services Center will help us better serve current and prospective students," said Dean Paul G. Mahoney.

The dedication will take place Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at the Karsh Center. The center was made possible through a substantial gift from UVA Law graduates Martha Lubin Karsh ’81 and Bruce M. Karsh ’80, who will attend the ceremony.
