Gabriel Finder, a lecturer in the University's Department of History and Jewish Studies Program, teaches Bioethics and Jewish Law and Introduction to Jewish Law.

Finder earned an East European Studies Postdoctoral Fellowship for the American Council for Learned Societies and a Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies Fellowship at the United State Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2000-01 and continued as a consultant for the Center. He was a Fulbright Doctoral Fellow in Germany during 1992-93. He is currently writing a book about Jewish life in Poland in the immediate aftermath of the Holocaust.
