Sarah A. Francisco, a senior attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center in Charlottesville, instructs the yearlong Environmental Law and Conservation Clinic. Francisco has practiced with SELC since 2002 and leads SELC's regional National Forests and Parks Program. Her expertise is in national forest management and restoration and her work focuses primarily on the protection and conservation of the national forests and other public lands in the Southern Appalachian mountains through various means, including administrative appeals and litigation.
