Roy Kreitner teaches Contracts, Commercial Transactions, and Jurisprudence at Tel Aviv University Law School. He received an S.J.D. from Harvard Law School, an LL.B. and an M.A. from Tel Aviv University, and an A.B. from Brown University. Prior to joining the faculty in Tel Aviv, he taught at Brooklyn Law School, and was a visiting researcher at the University of Turin, Italy.

His publications include: “Fear of Contract,” 2004 Wisconsin L. Rev. 429; “The Gift Beyond the Grave: Revisiting the Question of Consideration,” 101 Colum. L. Rev. 1876 (2001); and “Speculations of Contract, or How Contract Law Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Risk,” 100 Colum. L. Rev. 1096 (2000). His research interests include private law theory, contracts, legal history, and the history and theory of money.
