Darryl K. Brown joined the law faculty in 2007 after serving as a visiting professor at the Law School during the 2004-05 school year. He was most recently the Class of 1958 Alumni Professor of Law at Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he joined the faculty in 1998. He teaches Criminal Law, Criminal Adjudication and Evidence, among other courses, at the Law School.

Brown clerked for the Hon. Dolores K. Sloviter, chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, after earning his law degree at the University of Virginia. He was an associate at Kilpatrick & Cody in Atlanta before working as an assistant public defender in Clarke County, Ga.
