Joseph Gladden Jr. teaches Governance and Control of the Multi-National Business.
Gladden was managing editor of the Virginia Law Review and is a member of the Order of the Coif. He clerked for Judge John C. Godbold of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit after graduating from law school. He was an associate and later partner at King & Spalding until 1985, when he joined The Coca-Cola Company. He retired as Coca-Cola's executive vice-president and general counsel in 2001.
