Course Description:

The seminar will cover advanced readings in intellectual property policy. We may review issues and policies such as IP’s desirable duration, the desirable scope of the exclusive rights, sequential and cumulative innovation, empirical IP law papers, alternatives to intellectual property rights. Students should be at ease with the economic approach to law, although no previous knowledge is assumed or required.

NOTE: Laptops prohibited during class sessions.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Enrolled students who do not attend the first class session will be dropped. Students seeking to enroll in this seminar must attend the first class session.
