Course Description:
This short course meets Monday-Thursday, 4:00-5:30, March 18-28.
This course will examine ethical and legal issues related to reproduction. While some historical coverage will take place, primary emphasis will be on current topics, such as conscientious provider accommodations, state ultrasound legislation, embryonic stem cell research, prenatal genetic testing, regulation of the fertility industry, and similar issues.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Attendance at all class sessions is required
MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE with: Law and Reproduction seminar
COURSE REQUIREMENT: 8-10 page paper, class participation.
