Course Description:
This seminar will focus on the law relating to construction contracts and construction disputes. It will use a textbook and recent UVA construction contracts as source materials, along with other handouts dealing with construction related topics. The seminar will cover issues relating to private and public construction, from selection of project delivery systems to disputes resolution.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Enrolled students who do not attend the first class session will be dropped. Students seeking to enroll in this course must attend the first class session.
PREREQUISITE: Second- or third-year status
