NOTE: This course is taught at the JAG School during their 4th quarter, March 10, 2014 - May 16, 2014. The instructor is LTC Grimes.
This course examines the development, role, and importance of a professional legal ethic as applied to the practice of military justice. We will not study a set of rules (ABA Model Rules or service regulations), though reference will be made to them. The course is designed to foster critical thought about our professional rules and how they are applied. In doing so, you should develop a deeper appreciation for the ethic of a military justice practitioner, encompassing both the government and defense counsel.
PREREQUISITE: Professional Responsibility is highly recommended
