Course Description:

The course explores a variety of common law topics. Subject matter includes Contracts and Property, and to a lesser extent Torts and (perhaps) Criminal Law. It is a CaseFile course. Each day, we will consider a different CaseFile (a fact pattern and legal precedents). The final examination will be a CaseFile for analysis. Doctrinal memorization is not a part of the course. The purpose of the course is to enhance your ability to think like a lawyer. Class attendance is required. Class participation is rewarded.
