Course Description:
This course is a follow-up to the introductory Remedies course designed to complete the survey of important remedial topics: declaratory judgments; governmental immunities, implied rights of action, and other separation of powers concerns; collection of money judgments and contempt of court as the means of enforcing injunctions; awards of attorneys’ fees; remedial defenses (unconscionability, unclean hands, estoppel and waiver, statutes of limitation and laches); and a brief look at class remedies.
