Course Description:

This seminar will examine the legal regimes that regulate interests in cultural property. Among the topics discussed will be the repatriation of antiquities, the rights of artists to control or profit from their works, and the enforcement of limitations on access to documents of significant public interest.

Course Requirement: Paper required. NOTE: Students seeking to satisfy the upper-level writing requirement must submit a completed Writing Requirement Intent Form to the Student Records Office no later than October 1, 2014 - retroactive exceptions will not be granted.
