Course Description:

SPECIAL NOTES REGARDING SESSION DATES/TIMES/ROOM: Sessions dates/times to be announced by Professors.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Seminars in Ethical Values are designed to enhance students' understanding of ethical issues and address the broader ethical and moral responsibilities of the lawyer as citizen and leader. The seminars are graded on a pass/fail basis; students earn one credit in the spring semester upon successful completion of the seminar.

Political Memoirs and Other Recent Political Writin. This seminar explores the current political situation through recently published books, either in the form of memoirs or other writings, fiction or nonfiction, that attempt to account for the current configuration of political views, issues, and candidates. We will discuss part or all of such books as “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics” by David Axelrod, “Hard Choices” by Hillary Clinton, and “Stress Test: Reflections on Financial Crises” by Tim Geithner.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT: Attendance at all class sessions is required
