Course Description:

SPECIAL NOTES REGARDING SESSION DATES/TIMES/ROOM: This January Term course meets from January 18-22, 2016

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This short course will examine the legal regimes that regulate interests in cultural property. Among the topics discussed will be the repatriation of antiquities, the rights of artists to control or profit from their works, and the enforcement of limitations on access to documents of significant public interest.

Course Requirement:Students will be required to submit a short essay or response paper after the course is completed, but no later than February 13, 2016 at 4:30pm.
