Course Description:

COURSE DESCRIPTION
: Students in this semester-long clinic will work closely with attorneys at the Southern Environmental Law Center on a range of activities related to the protection and restoration of natural resources and the environment of the Southeast. Student activities will include performing legal research and analysis, conducting factual investigations, drafting comments on state or federal agency regulations or permits, drafting briefs or other pleadings, participating in meetings with agency staff, legislators or other officials, and participating in other proceedings.

Course Requirement:Drafting comments, briefs, letters, and other documents; participating in regulatory proceedings and hearings; meeting with clients and agency staff; providing legal advice and other counseling.
