Course Description:
This seminar examines the interaction of legal and non-legal rules in modern US national elections, Major League Baseball®, and strategic warfare in World War II. The course materials focus on book-length readings and on complex, rules-driven simulations.
COURSE REQUIREMENT: A substantial research paper or, for those not using the course to fulfill the writing requirement, a short paper and an analytically rigorous project reflecting substantial research, such as a group presentation to the class or the creation of a website.
