Ben Cooper is a trial lawyer with the Columbus litigation boutique Cooper & Elliott. He co-teaches the January Term course Persuasion and guest lectures on oral advocacy.
Cooper received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Virginia. During law school, he was a semifinalist in the Lile Moot Court Competition and served as editor-in-chief of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law. He worked as an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan Lovells before clerking for R. Guy Cole, Jr., Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
