Ronald M. Huber


Ron Huber is the managing assistant for the Charlottesville office of the United States Attorney. He has been an assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of Virginia since 2008. Prior to that, Huber served as an assistant commonwealth's attorney for both Charlottesville (1995-2007) and Albemarle County, Va. (2007-08).

Prior to becoming a prosecutor, Huber was an associate with the law firm St. John, Bowling & Lawrence, a partner with the firm Huber & Sipe and a legislative assistant with U.S. Rep. John J. Duncan.

Huber has been an adjunct professor with the University of Virginia School of Law Prosecution Clinic since 2006. He graduated from the George Mason University School of Law in 1989, and Michigan State University with a bachelor's in economics in 1984.

He currently serves on the boards of Offender Aid and Restoration and Crime Stoppers.
