Prior to joining the Law School Foundation, Jasmine Yoon served as an assistant United States attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia from 2010-16, where she prosecuted and investigated a wide range of federal white collar criminal cases and complex financial crimes, including corporate and securities fraud, bank fraud, Bank Secrecy Act violations, public corruption and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act cases.
Yoon received her B.A. as a Jefferson Scholar and Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholar. After law school, Yoon clerked for Judge James C. Cacheris, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and worked as a white collar defense attorney with the law firm of Crowell & Moring LLP in Washington, D.C.
