Michael N. Petkovich is a shareholder in the Washington, D.C., office of Jackson Lewis.
After graduating cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Petkovich received his law degree from Valparaiso University Law School in Indiana, and completed his master's degree in labor at the University of Massachusetts.
In 1981, Petkovich started his career with the National Labor Relations Board, serving as a law clerk for Chairman John H. Fanning. Between 1983 and 1986, he was a trial attorney for the NLRB in New Orleans. While at the labor board, Petkovich was the lead counsel in numerous unfair labor practice trials and served as the hearing officer in dozens of hearings.
