Robert G. Zack, who will teach the spring Law School short course Federal Regulation of Investment Companies, serves as counsel at Dechert's New York City office, where he assists registered investment companies and investment advisers with financial services matters.
Prior to joining Dechert, Zack served as executive vice president and general counsel of OppenheimerFunds Inc., an investment adviser to retail mutual funds and institutional clients, from 2002 until January 2011; until December 2011 he was also general counsel of the parent company of OppenheimerFunds. Zack was associated with OppenheimerFunds for more than 30 years, prior to which he was associated with other law firms in New York City.
