R. Lee Livingston


Lee Livingston is a partner at MichieHamlett. He practices civil litigation, personal injury law, medical malpractice and defamation law. He formerly owned his own law firm in Charlottesville. A member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association Board of Governors since 1999, Livingston presently serves on the VTLA Executive Council as a vice president. He is a State Bar Council representative for the 16th District and former chair of the Virginia State Bar Litigation Section Board of Governors and the Virginia State Bar Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board. He serves on the Supreme Court of Virginia's Model Jury Instruction Committee and has served on the Virginia Supreme Court’s Appellate Rules Advisory Committee and Electronic Filing Study Committee. He is a member of the Boyd-Graves Conference. Livingston is co-author of Evidence for the Trial Lawyer, published by Matthew-Bender (Lexis) and VTLA.
