John Conover had been teaching the Housing Law Clinic since 2002-2003. He is an attorney with the Legal Aid Justice Center, where he concentrates on housing law issues. Prior to coming to the LAJC in 2000, he was in private business in the Charlottesville area for 28 years. Conover served on the Charlottesville City Council from 1980-1984. He is currently serving his second term as a commissioner of the Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water District.
