    Amanda S. Yale is a career counselor at the Mortimer Caplin Public Service Center. She graduated from Colgate University in 1993 with a B.A. in religion and a minor in philosophy. She earned her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 1999. After graduating from law school, she worked as a staff attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She then clerked for the Hon. I. Leo Glasser in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. From 2002 to 2004, she worked at Legal Services for Children in New York City, where she defended the rights of indigent disabled children in special education and Social Security disability benefits proceedings.
