Joby Ryan serves as a development officer for the Law School Foundation.
Ryan joined the Law School in 2013 as director of Career Services, Prior to joining the Career Services team, Ryan was an associate at Hogan Lovells in Washington, D.C., for nearly eight years. At Hogan, Ryan’s litigation practice concentrated on securities class action and derivative suits, white-collar investigations, antitrust litigation and other complex commercial lawsuits. During his tenure at Hogan, Ryan spent six years as a member of the firm’s Recruiting Committee and was elected chair of its Associates’ Committee, both for the D.C. office and nationally.
Ryan is a 2005 graduate of the Law School. During his time on Grounds, he was a member of the editorial staff of the Journal for Social Policy & the Law, served as a Peer Advisor and was an NGSL commissioner. Ryan also graduated from Harvard University, where he received an A.B. in government in 2002 and played basketball.
