| Alison White Archivist and Special Collections Librarian M.S., University of Tennessee at Knoxville, 2002 B.A., University of Virginia, 1990 Alison White joined the library in 2003 as special collections librarian, archivist, and reference librarian. She received her B.A. in history at the University of Virginia in 1990, where she was an Echols Scholar, and her M.S. in information science at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2002. She was a paralegal for several years before returning to school to work on her master’s degree and was a historical collections assistant with Historical Collections and Services at the University of Virginia’s Claude Moore Health Sciences Library for two years before coming to the Law School. As special collections librarian she maintains the preservation of and access to the Law Library’s rare book collection and faculty writing collection. As archivist she oversees the organization of selected institutional records, including Law School publications, certain administrative records, and student organization records. As reference librarian she assists with reference and research with an emphasis on historical and archival research. | |
