    Sarah Johnson has been associate director of graduate studies since July 2002. She assists the director of graduate studies and the Graduate Committee (all academic faculty members) with the LL.M. and S.J.D admissions process. She also is the primary career counselor for LL.M. students, oversees the orientation process for new students, and assists students with administrative matters throughout the year. Johnson manages the Visiting Scholars Program and incoming exchange students. She has served on a number of University committees dealing with international student issues.

    Johnson also has worked for the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression in Charlottesville and for the Law School’s J.D. admissions office. Prior to law school, she took courses in broadcast journalism at Boston University and worked in television and radio news.
