Notice: Effective July 28, 2004, printing and copying balances have been integrated into one account.
Law students may access Law School printing services in two ways—from the Law School Lab or from their own laptops. The Law School provides a computer lab for the exclusive use of Law students which provides printing services. The computer lab is in Withers-Brown, in the Library, across from the circulation desk. For more information about the labs, see Law School Labs. The Law School provides five heavy-duty printers. There are two in the Withers-Brown Lab, one in the Library Reserve room, and one in the 2nd Floor copy rooms (WB248). These printers can be used by students in the lab, or, for students who have wired or wireless connections and who choose to set up their laptops to do so, from student laptops.
A printing/copying allocation of 500 pages per semester will be granted to each student. Student printing/copying balances are (re)set for any given term on the Monday before classes resume. We believe that allotment will be more than ample for most students. However, for those students needing additional printing/copying, can purchase credit at a cost of 5 cents per page. Additional credit can be purchased during normal business hours at the Law Business office (WB326), or it can be added online at any time. NOTE: cash balances and purchased print cash balances will not be refunded. If you need to recharge your printing/copying account, we suggest incrementally adding lower dollar amounts as you near a known account inactivity period, (i.e., graduation). If you have any questions regarding your print and copy balances, go to the Law Business office (WB326) or submit your question to the Law School Business Office via LawWeb.
For help configuring your notebook computer to print to the Law School printers, please see the student printing and copying guide.
