How to Contact Us with Written Questions

Generally, questions requiring an extended conversation or having nuanced answers are best addressed during a counseling appointment booked through Symplicity.

Reach out to your assigned PSC counselor for any questions about your job search or employment documents. If you don’t have a PSC counselor, email publicservice@law.virginia.edu.

Direct any quick questions about Public Service OGI, Symplicity, or programs to publicservice@law.virginia.edu.

Email privatepractice@law.virginia.edu; we prioritize this email box over our personal accounts and emails to the general account will generally be answered within 24 hours. If time-sensitive, make sure the subject line conveys that.

In an emergency* call our main number (434.924.7349) or stop by our office during business hours.

Reach out to Ruth directly at rpayne@law.virginia.edu.
