Course Description

This seminar will explore laws and polices related to governance and allocation of natural resources. We will cover the nature of those resources, challenges in governing them, and how well current laws meet those challenges. The class will survey legal and policy issues related to marine fisheries, wildlife, water resources, federal forests and rangelands, protected federal lands such as national parks and monuments, and energy development on federal land.
