Course Description

In this course, we compare and contrast legal rules (contracts and constitutions), institutional rules (the NFL and the Law School), game rules (chess, card games, and tabletop boardgames), and social norms (disputes among ranchers, trends in fashion, and norms in the Law School classroom).

Students will write four 5-page papers during the semester (due directly to instructor, not via EXPO) that analyze books assigned for the course and one 12-page paper due via EXPO by noon on December 18, 2024.
