Course Description

This course explores the statutory, regulatory and policy aspects and underpinnings of immigration law. It focuses on family-based and employment-based immigration, including immigrant and nonimmigrant classifications, and covers the process of admission, exclusion issues, and citizenship through naturalization. Legal and policy issues associated with immigration reform are also addressed as substantive legal topics are discussed.
