Course Description
Economics and statistics are becoming increasingly important in legal practice. This course provides an introduction to decision theory, game theory, contracting, finance, microeconomics, law & economics, probability, and statistics and discusses how these concepts can be applied in legal contexts. The course does not require any background in mathematics, economics, or statistics. The goal of the course is for students to develop their intuition through practical application to legal problems.
