Course Description

This course examines energy law and policy in the United States, with a particular focus on how the discipline is evolving to address and adapt to climate change and other pressing environmental concerns. Energy and the Environment is interdisciplinary by nature, and our study of the field will reflect that. Our review of energy law will rely heavily on legal doctrine, of course. But the class will also tackle questions of policy, economics, and environmental protection.
