Course Description

The goal of this course is for students to learn legal research strategies and resources (primary and secondary) useful for conducting research for upper-level classes and the practice of law. Students will build upon legal research skills gained in LRW I and II by conducting research in subscription and open access databases and evaluating the results of that research.

Written Work Product: Students’ work is assessed during the in-class research exercises which may include group and individual work (class participation) and four to five written research assignments which are to be completed as homework (due directly to instructor, not via EXPO).
