Course Description
The required skills course for LL.M. candidates unfamiliar with the U.S. common law system, Graduate Legal Research & Writing (I) offers guidance for class preparation, research and writing. Students will gain intellectual skills necessary for LL.M. coursework, meeting the upper-level writing requirement, and future professional endeavors. The course covers fundamentals of U.S. legal research and writing through research exercises and simple writing assignments. This offering is graded and carries one academic credit.
