Course Description
This course will allow students to delve deeper into the theory and practice of representing nonprofit organizations. Throughout the term, students will have the opportunity to supplement their reading with hands-on simulated case studies. Students will thus build drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.

Prerequisites: Prior coursework in nonprofit organizations, corporations, trusts and estates is recommended but not required. Because the credits in this course count toward the JD Program Professional Skills requirement, JD candidates will be given enrollment priority for this class. Concurrencies: If not taken previously, concurrent coursework in nonprofit organizations, corporations, trusts and estates is recommended but not required.
