Course Description
This yearlong seminar is designed to enhance students' understanding of ethical issues and address the broader ethical and moral responsibilities of the lawyer as citizen and leader. We will discuss five works of contemporary literature or film that raise ethical and philosophical questions about the human condition. Our past selections have included works such as My Brilliant Friend (Ferrante), Hillbilly Elegy (Vance), Between the World and Me (Coates), and films like Jiro Dreams of Sushi and Black Panther.
