Course Description
Students who have completed the International Human Rights Clinic may take this offering by instructor permission to obtain advanced practical experience with activities lawyers engage in to promote respect for human rights.

Written Work Product: Students will provide substantial written work on one or more clinical assignments, which could include legal briefs and advocacy papers depending on the project.

Prerequisites: (International Human Rights Law Clinic (8617)) International Law and/or International Human Rights Law recommended, but not required. Because the credits in this course count toward the JD Program Professional Skills requirement, JD candidates will be given enrollment priority for this class. Concurrencies: None

Course Notes: NOTE REGARDING GRADING BASIS: Students will receive a grade of Honors (H), Pass (P) or Fail (F) at the conclusion of the semester. In accordance with Academic Policy, CR, NC, H, P, and F grades do not earn grading points, so they do not contribute to a student's grade point average (GPA).
